Indiana Babies

Jen

I just now read your post about Joseph and his percentiles.  Did you rent a scale?  If so, how is that going?

At any rate, I wouldn't worry tooooo much...I mean, he seems to be ahead of all the developmental milestones, which is a really good sign.  I also think that TJ looks really tiny still, for a guy!  And, knowing that you know a lot about statistics, I'm sure I don't have to remind you that *somebody* has to be at the bottom for percentiles to exist! :)

Re: Jen

  • Thanks. :)  I actually called one hospital last week and they took a while to get back to me but they didn't have them.  I'm going to call a different one this week.  I'm pretty sure he's just a tiny baby, but I figure if I start keeping track of what I eat, how much he's gaining, and days where he's spitting up more then I can show the pedi at his 4 mo appt.  At this point I'm just trying to be proactive, I guess.

And T.J. is tiny... he's barely pushing 120 right now at 5'10"!  (Jerk)

  • Ah, I didn't know he spit up a lot.  Ben has just now finally quit spitting up a lot.  He'd do it like two hours after eating quite often...that's why he's always got a bib on!  It never was a whole lot, though, he just did it ALL.THE.TIME.

It sounds like a good plan, though, to be set for his next appointment.

I think I saw baby scales in Target once...I'm not sure if they were accurate enough for what you want to do, though.
