Moms of toddler boys....

Is your DS becoming a daddy's boy? DS for a long time only wanted me to play, read, change him whatever. I can remember telling DH his day is coming and not to let it bother him. Well the day has come and I am sad!!  Where did "mommy's" little boy go?

Re: Moms of toddler boys....

  • Not yet, but dh has been gone a lot lately. I have been home from work since April and DS has become extremely attached to me. Within the past couple days he has actually let DH do some things for him, but he still gives him attitude 98% of the time.
  • Nope! Not yet!!! He's still a total Momma's boy...and I love it. :)

  • omg, that is the sweetest sig pic. what a cutie pie! I have to update mine...

I've heard that happens...we aren't there yet. But DH puts Sam to bed and if he doesn't, I hear about it. I am sure it's only a matter of time.

Thanks. DS loves for DH to put him to bed as well. If DH is home DS requests for DH to do bedtime. He is alot more vocal with the reading when it comes making voices and such, DS loves for him to read.

  • When he wants to play, he wants daddy. When he's hurt/sick/angry, he wants me. Lucky me, huh?

  • Yep, DS #1 is all about daddy right now!!  He has to be where daddy is all.the.time!  But, honestly, I'm loving it!  DS #2 is all about mommy and it's nice not to have 2 hanging all over me all the time.  I'm welcoming the all about daddy time and enjoying my nights of only putting one child to bed (most nights anyhow). Stick out tongue
  • First of all, AWD, that may be just about the cutest toddler boy EVER!!!

Nope, both of my boys are total mama's boys.  DH and I joke that when we have #3, it better be a girl and a Daddy's Girl because I won't have enough arms for all my boys (they are constantly fighting over who sits by me or on me!).
