glucose test

Went in this morning for my glucose test and I was feeling really light headed and dizzy still have Hyperemesis Gravidurum. (29 weeks ticker is not working) anyways I felt just weird and faint like while they were doing the blood work. I wonder if it had anything to do with my veins blowing. I got poked four times because they just kept blowing and my veins are just so bad you can see them but getting sticked they just give... ahhh can't wait for this to be over with 11 weeks to go!

If you read the warnings on the glucose drink it covers everything you are feeling. I think it's just all the sugar in it. I got shaky from mine.

I was shaky, nauseous, dizzy and sweaty especially during the three hour.  The sugar really challanges your body.

For those you that did the 3 hour how horrible is it?  I just got word this morning that I failed my 1 hour and they want me to go for my three hour tomorrow.  I am really dreading it, becuase of aweful the 1 hour made me feel, and i hate needles!  I am starting to freak out about what will happen if i dont pass the 3 hour, i guess i should jump ahead of myself.  Anyone else having the same problem?

The worst part was having to sit at the lab for 3 hours...I highly recommend you bring a book or a movie on your ipod or something like that.  I got a little shaky but it wasn't unbearable.

Besides something to entertain you...i say bring a snack so you can have it once they are done, you'll be hungry and will want something.
