Munire "Newport" Crib - anyone have it? (PIP)

We looked at a few different sets of Munire furniture today and both really liked the Madison and Newport. Leaning more towards the Newport in Cherry - would love some feedback if anyone has the crib or six-drawer dresser.... We were thinking of using the top of the 6-drawer dresser as the changing "table" with a changing pad on top....

Yes, we don't have it yet but we ordered that Crib with both sets of rails, the combo dresser with hutch (we'll use as a changing table as well) and the tall 5 drawer dresser...this was our LO will have a full bedroom set until she leaves for college....that's the hope anyway. We ordered it in the antique white and I'm in love with it...can't wait till it gets here in a couple of weeks.

Every state has different retailers - you can go to the website at www.munire.com and find a store near year. All stores are required to have a max "lowest" price so shopping around only saves maybe $10 in the end. I just learned that this weekend.

We bought a Munire convertible crib and dresser with the same idea that it will last for many years too come. So far I love both pieces of furniture. We use the dresser as a changing table as well and that has worked out great. I attached a couple of photos that I took very quickly to give you an idea. Sorry it is not the highest quality

We got the Munire Newport collection in Espresso. The pieces we chose were the lifetime crib, 6 drawer dresser and the hutch. We just picked them up and set them up in the nursery last weekend, and I love it! We didn't have room for the tall dresser, so I wanted the 6 drawer dresser instead of the combo. We also plan on using the top of the dresser as a changing table, so we will remove the bottom shelf of the hutch until later on. HTH!

We got the Newport collection in cherry. ?The pieces we got were the Lifetime crib, 6 drawer dresser and nightstand. ?We love how the pieces look. ?We did a lot of research (Consumer Reports and Baby Bargains) before making a final decision. ?We will use the dresser as a changing table. ?

Also have Newport in espresso, plus the combo dresser (using as changing table) & the 5 drawer dresser. I'm kind of mad at myself right now b/c I never noticed the 6 drawer dresser & would've preferred that. ugh.?

Regardless, the babies arent here yet but I really like the furniture, it seems to be really good quality, I think it will last us a long time. ?

We were also debating between the madison & newport! I preferred some of the details on the newport although we wanted one of the colors the Madison came in, but in the end decided we liked the dressers for newport better.

We have the Newport crib!  I have a pic of it in my blog if you scroll down a bit.  We also bought the Madison 6 drawer dresser because the two styles are so similar, but the Madison one was $100 cheaper than the Newport.  It looks fine in the room together.  U put a changing pad on the dresser & it works just fine.

We purchased the Newport crib and dresser combo (not the hutch) in Espresso.  So love it!!!  We purchased a couple of weeks ago but haven't put it together yet.  Well, the dresser is set up as we purchased final sale, it had a little insy winsy scratch and we got $250 off!  Woohoo!  DH is working on painting, he's almost done.

I had my heart set on the Newport, but when we got to the store, they had an AMAZING sale on the Contempo (which isn't shown on the munire website, maybe because they don't make it anymore, idk), and we got the crib and dresser for $500!! It was such a steal that I let go of my beloved Newport.
