I was CRAVING BBQ for the last week or so, so I went to this place called Armadillo Willy's and got me a chopped brisket sandwich. I wanted BBQ like they have back home (Oklahoma/Texas), with it being spicy and sweet at the same time but sadly I was disappointed
I love Famous Daves for BBQ which we have here in N. FL. I know when I lived down in South FL there was a place called Bobby Rubbinos(sp) that had really yummy ribs! I don't know if they are still around and the one I know of was in Pompano Beach .

Just boil pork ribs in a pot of coca cola (it breaks down the muscle fibers more quickly) for 1-2 hours, then pull them out. Make sauce out of hoisin sauce (asian food aisle) and sriracha hot sauce depending on how spicy you want them. Then sprinkle s+p and garlic powder over ribs, then spread sauce all over them. Broil in oven for about 5 minutes. Minimal work and delicious with some rice and a salad. DH LOVES this recipe.
Sonny's BBQ...I'm from Central FL now living in TX...Sonny's sounds so good now. It looks like the closest ones to you are in Davie & Florida City....kinda far about 25+ miles away.
Here locally I'd say...Wetmore Smokehouse...best ever!!! Don't even need sauce they are that good.
Re: Where would you go for some good ribs?
No help at all for you, but we have a little hole in the wall called Charred Rib here. It's amazing.
Do you guys have a Texas De Brazil nearby? It's not ribs but it's sooooooo yummy!
I have already found the best bbq sauce in the world so I just buy ribs from Costco and make them myself.
BBQ sauce is Mo's Sweet Carolina

Is there a Chili's in Miami? Chili's ribs aren't too bad.

Home-made is the way to go for me.
