How?d you get it to work? PAC will wear it like a backpack and hold the leash himself, but if I try to hold the leash, it becomes a game of tug-of-war. It?s ridiculous. People at the mall ask, ?who?s walking who?? Haha?
Yeah, hardy har.
My babies!!

Yah, it didn't work out for us as I'd intended either. I used to bring it around just in case, but really, he loved the stroller so we stopped using it. Now I just tell him he's going back in unless he can walk next to me and he does fine.
I know this isn't helpful for you, basically it just works for us. I tell her she has to wear her monkey, hold my hand, or ride in the stroller because there are too many people and she might get squished. She usually just chooses the monkey leash. If she tries to choose none of those then DH will carry her or if I'm alone I will wrestle her into the stroller kicking and screaming.
Oh, but I do put the monkey leash on her backwards so she is holding the monkey on her chest. That way she walks around hugging it. With it on her back she just turns in circles trying to see the monkey like a dog chasing its tail.
Re: If you use a ?leash?
We didn't use ours much but it really doesn't matter who pulls who. The point is that he can't get away quickly, and these kids ARE quick!
the problem though is that he won't walk at all. He'll stay in one spot and PULL.
