I thought my dd would skip crawling, she has rolled to get every since about 5 months old, but she recently (in the last 2 weeks) started to crawl! Sometimes she still rolls. She generally crawls when she wants to go straight and rolls when she wants to go sideways It's quite funny!
She is not cruising yet though she is pulling up now, so I have a feeling cruising is soon to follow!
I thought my DS would skip crawling altogether, but Memorial Day weekend he started the army crawl. He might crawl for real, but his right leg doesn't seem to get the concept of bending...it just kind of drags behind him while his arms and left leg do all of the work! So funny! He's been pulling up for a while but no cruising, really...only in the crib when he wants to get to the mobile, but not on the sofa or coffee table or anything else.
DS started army crawling on Sunday. He pulls up and will cruise around if he's got something to hold onto. I figure he'll have to stop army crawling and either go to the real thing or start walking soon since he's having the fundo done and getting a mickey button on Wednesday. : ( I don't think he'll be able to crawl around on his tummy after that. But it was just over the weekend that he started doing all these things so it happened pretty fast for us too.
