DH is convinced

DH is convinced that I am pregnant because my bewbs have been aching for the past 2 days.  Then again he is convinced I am pregnant every month even with his SA results.  I, however, gave up on believing in phantom sx as an indicator of being knocked up about 6 months ago.  Why do men think they have super sperm?  Or is my DH unique in this?

This is so funny. I just hung up with DH b/c i had a meltdown about a couple of things (not just TTC). And of course we talked about TTC and next steps, etc. I was explaining to him that he needs to get SA soon (real soon) if I am going to go on clomid again next cycle again. He is like, "I don't think there is anything wrong with my sperm".

Trust me when I say yours is not unique. Mine was convinced I would get KU the first month of trying. We're on cycle 3. End of story.

No, its all men. DH was the same way after EVERY time we had sex. He is much better now because me and our dr have educated him.

My husband also believes his sperm to be highly effective - even without any supporting evidence.

Well hopefully your DH is right. But I do agree about men thinking they have super sperm. When I was on BCP, I told him I was killing his "little guys" (I know it was kind of mean) but he said no I'm not, he has powerful sperm and he has been drinking his protein shakes. I will never get it.

The first time DH and I had sex after making the official decision to start TTC, he's like, "Wouldn't it be awesome if we just made a baby?" I'm like, "Yeah, that's impossible. I haven't ovulated yet." They don't seem to get it at all.

I think DH may have thought that way the 1st 3 cycles.  But, since I was charting and confirming that everything seemed OK w/me...he started to think it was him.  But, I would still say your DH is not unique, LOL. 

My SIL got pg w/twins her 1st mo trying, and her H's response, "I have super sperm."  Um, no BIL, SIL has super ovaries.  ha haha

I think it is all DH's...he has decided that he has such super sperm that we are going to have twins. He also thinks I am being too "scientific" I swear he seems to think it is going to be SO easy....yeah right DH! I am keeping my fingers crossed that he is right!
