The terrible twos leads to the WTF threes?!

OMG. L started the terrible twos at 18 months. So 2.5 is *just about* time to start what I have affectionately decided to call the WTF threes. He's all over the place. Testing limits, back-talking, throwing major tantrums...in short...driving me batshit crazy. Please, for the love of God, someone tell me I'm not the only one.

Honestly for the month before, the month of and the month after DD was 2.5 have been the worst so far. It has actually gotten better as we get closer to 3.

wtf threes-matt went through these.  he's soooo much better at 4. thank all the stars and heaven above for that piece of returned sanity!

Terrible 3's started here close to that time frame.  Now that she's actually 3, it's still the same.  The fighting everything I ask/tell her to do is driving me crazy.

OMG, I love the tittle of your post. I hope you don't mind if I use that from now on, because I've been looking for something to call DS's behavior, and your tittle fits perfectly. No you are not the only one, it's just been really bad, and from what I've heard 3 is worst than 2.

I'm terrified of this! DD is definitely in the throes of the terrible 2s and the thought of it getting worse makes me want to bury my head in the sand. Love the title, though!

Literally the day DD turned 3, she fell into that category.  The twos were just fine.  And the WTF 3's didn't last long....thankfully.

That is just so funny.  Dd was at the WTF 3's when she turned 3 and then it got better and then IT came back. Better, back, better, back.  ....

I keep saying terrible twos have nothing on four!  Since my son has turned four he has given up naps and turned into a terror!  Perhaps I should call them fearsome fours?

Yeah, 3 is way worse than 2 and it starts before 3.  It started at 2 3/4 for us and it hasn't stopped since.  He'll be 4 in Aug.  Ugh!
