My DH used to hate my short bob, but now he likes it. The way I see it, its my hair, and if short is easier for me and I like it, he just has to deal.

DH hated my hair short.  I let it grow mostly because short hair was a lot more maintence than I had anticipated but I also like him to like my hair.

Thankfully DH doesn't care one way or the other.  But if he didn't care for a particular style and I loved it I would keep it.

I honestly can't imagine DH having a preference about my hair. I'm not sure he would even notice a new style without a hint.

I picked other.

I cut all my hair off to super short.  And it kept getting shorter and MH finally asked that I stop cutting it to let it grow out.  I agreed, kind of, in that I would start the process of growing it out, but I'd keep it short until I was ready for that.

So, basically, I gave him lip service that I'd grow it back out and now, I finally am.  And he just thinks it takes that long.

Probably not the most straight forward approach, but it made both of us happy.

  this is my husband.  I'm more particular about his hair but my opinion doesn't sway him very far ... nor should it.
