Back with an update!!

And I hope that you can tell from my exclamation points that I'm having a really good day now. DH and I were super nervous going into the room for the u/s, and the first thing the tech said when she found my uterus was, "You are NOT nine weeks."

Well, thanks, I already knew that. Too bad LMP dating is worthless for me. But then she said, "This looks like seven." Yay!!!! The baby measured 7w1d and they gave me a due date of January 13. I'm going to keep my ticker as it is for now, though. Oh, and we saw the heartbeat, and she cranked up the volume so we could hear it--150BPM! It lives!

After the u/s, I had my first prenatal visit, which was basically my new doctor (new to me, one in the practice I hadn't seen yet) talking a mile a minute in a thick Polish accent about genetic testing. He also said I'll get another u/s around 13-14 weeks. Yes, please! And that was it. No internal exam since I'm on progesterone supplements.

Totally walking on air here. SIGH.
