Ladies,
I swore I'd never get set on the Twilight series, but I caved! I am about to finish the series tonight and am sad that it's over. Can you recommend any good books you read after Twilight? I'm not really into the vampires but if it has enough romance then I might be able to stand it. Thanks so much girls!!! I need something to get me through the next few weeks!!!

I second this. I love Jennifer Weiner. Another really fun author to read (if you like chick lit) is Marian Keyes. Her book "The Last Chance Saloon" is one of my favorites.
My favorite series of books are by Diana Gabaldon...the first one is called Outlander. My favorite book ever!!! It is a romance novel with a time travel twist. It is more involved and a little heavier read than Twilight....but not difficult and very addictive. You will fall in love with the main male character.
Also, I love Karen Moning's series of Fever Books...There are 3 so far in the series. They are kind of more on the line of Twilight with creatures(demons/fairys) and such, some romance involved, and fairly easy reads, but also very addictive.
I stayed with teen lit and read "Sloppy Firsts" by Megan McCafferty. They're very good for young adult books. I also liked "Something Borrowed" and "Little Earthquakes". My fave Jennifer Weiner book is "Good In Bed" but I didn't love the sequel. I never realized till my m/c how many books have surprise pregnancy twists - even the teen ones!
If you haven't read Harry Potter stop reading message boards, go to amazon and order them now. It's a must.
Oh my goodness, YES!! I love these books, though I don't think I would call them romance novels, per se. They're excellent historical fiction, with a truly wonderful romance thrown in. The time travel aspect puts some people off, but I swear to you, the author handles it in such a way that it makes complete sense.
And ARC 07 is right---you will for sure fall in love with the main male character.
