I'll say this much about Kate...

The woman has pretty awesome legs for a 34-year-old who has given birth to 8 kids.

Not a fan of the hair, but she is in great shape all things considered.

    Ugh, I'm sure its because she neglects her children to work out!  I mean, if she were a true SAHM she would not take the time away from them to work on her legs!

    You know, the only bad thing I have to say about her, is that she took her DH's balls. Otherwise, I think she's done a good job with getting things for their kids they probably wouldn't have. I imagine its not easy to support 8 kids.

    Yes, she's out promoting a book. Celebrities are out and about all the damn time and we don't see the kids and I don't see them being attacked. WTF, her kids are with their dad.

    Yeah, there's a reason you never see Michelle Duggar in a short skirt. SHE would never take time off from homeschooling her children work out!

    Yes, she's out promoting a book. Celebrities are out and about all the damn time and we don't see the kids and I don't see them being attacked. WTF, her kids are with their dad.

    But they are celebrities, she is supposed to be a mom and the show is about her and her life with the kids.  She isn't  an actress.  That is the difference to me.  And FWIW, if I was suddenly gone all the time after agreeing to be a SAHM and then DH had to stay at home and take on that role he would be pretty annoyed - and I only have 1!

    Banging my head on my desk for the umpteenth time today.  There seems to be more sexism on this board than I once realized.  I guess when you are "supposed to be a MOM" you are not allowed to have any life outside of your kids and your house.  No job, no wearing makeup and working on your appearance, nothing.  Some of you make me sad.

    LMAO!  But didn't she also have plastic surgery?  I know she had all that loose skin removed from her tummy but could there have been other things done to her as well?  Does anyone know?

    I still don't see the point. She IS a mom. She happens to be the parent that found a way for them to live and support 8 kids and provide them with a beautiful house, vacations they probably couldn't afford, etc. I'm not saying thats all that matters but why are people mad at her for trying. If John was the one that wrote the books and gone for book tours, that would be ok?

    If my job and were tearing my family apart, I would find another way to provide for my family in order to keep my marriage and family together.

    I'm not saying that moms (working or SAH's) can't get away and have time for themselves, but I think for myself that I would try to keep my family intact first and then work on the bills. Do they need that extragavant lifestyle? nope, they need a place to stay and to be healthy and happy, just like everyone else.
