No advice here. We've tried everything Ferber (our sleep guru of choice) recommends to move their wake-up time later... but he is up, every morning, at 6 on the dot. No matter what.

Evan was a crazy early riser like that too, and one day he just started sleeping later.
Abby started getting up earlier too, and since we cosleep I just leave some quiet toys beside the bed. When she wakes up at 5-6am I just give her the toys and let her play quietly in the bed while I doze in and out a little. After a few days of that, I think she's just figuring that Mama is NOT getting up at 5am, so now even if she wakes up a bit early she will just kind of laze around and most times will just doze off back to sleep too.
I don't know where the heck DS got the "early-rising" thing from. I could sleep til noon every day if I could and I am NOT a morning person. DH is the same way.
How did we make a little Early Bird???

We would love to know. DS is an early bird, no matter how many times he was up crying in the night. Yep, 11mo and not STTN, AND an early riser. We apparently suck at parenting.
If anyone comes up with a magic sleep-in potion, please let me know where to get it!! DS wakes up between 5am - 6am and I feel AWFUL because I usually just let him hang out in his crib until I am awake enough to go get him.
Every morning I think, oh he'll just fall back asleep on his own...and he has YET to do it!! ??

Honestly, I have no idea.

But I've no idea what to do for crib sleepers.
