Can I AW my DS and his SAT score for a minute?

I know most of you don't have teenagers but my DS took the SAT's for the 1st time in May and we got his results today.  He got an overall score of 1850!  I'm so excited for him and I think he did really well!

    Wait, have they changed the scoring since I was in HS? Am I on glue, or isn't the highest score one can get a 1600?

    2350!!!  Holy cow!  And yes, you are right, the scores are different now.

    Happ, you have no idea.  Every time I think about him graduating and going to college I start to cry.......and he still has a year to go!  LOL

    He hasn't decided on one yet, we've gone to visit some recently and he has some favorites.  Next fall he'll do all of the applying and then we'll go from there.

    On top of the 800 math, 800 verbal, they added an 800 writing section a few yrs. ago.
