How long do you alternate Tylenol/Motrin?

Just wondering how long can you do this for?

We started last night, and will do it through tonight. Going back to the pedi in the a.m. so I will ask her, just wondering what your experiences have been.

    We did it for almost 5 days straight about a month ago when DS's fever would not break (only came down to 101 even with rotating them!).  Our pedi said if we went more than 5 days to call back and bring him in.
