If you are using etsy for bedding...

How did you find the person?  If you already received yours, how was the quality?  Do you have any recommendations?  I have never used etsy before and it is a little overwhelming!

I was overwhelmed by the thought at first too. I went to the site and searched for the theme I was looking for. I then found a couple sellers who made custom bedding & had that fabric theme. I then emailed them to ask about getting specific pieces made and pricing on just that. I havent finalized anything yet though.

Oh and I started out at the website www.babybedding.com & used their custom design tool to develop what I wanted. Then I emailed the picture to the person on etsy & they said they could match it. Basically all the fabrics you see are fairly easy to buy. good luck

I put out a request for exactly what I was looking for and people can "bid" on it. From there I went with who sounded like they could do the best job at copying what I wanted for the best price and looked at their previous projects to see what their work looks like.

i just searched for "custom crib bedding" and then searched the results for fabrics i liked. then i narrowed down by pricing and the examples posted of their work.

ours is expected to arrive any day now -- so excited to see it!
