Babies: 0 - 3 Months

It's been 2 days since....

DD pooped...I'm nursing...So I've been eating veggies to help her out but it's not helping. I can tell she's uncomfortable and gassy. Advice?

  • I'm pretty sure it's normal for BF babies to go a few days without pooping?  Mine will once in awhile.

  • In my breastfeeding book it says that it's normal for babies older than 1 month to go a few days w/o pooping.
  • It is normal, but it make Xander uncomfortable too. We have tried rectal thermometer in tushie for 60 seconds (didn't work for us, but was recommended by doc), baths, baby massage, and bicycling his legs.
