raspberries for an 8 1/2 month old okay?

I bought earth's best stage 2 pears and raspberries but heard that babies dd age should not eat strawberrries. aren't the two fruits similar?

Apparently not, because the books and pedi told me to not feed strawberries until 1 year.  I have given DS both raspberries and blackberries though.  But I agree with you -- I don't know what the difference is.

Our doctor encourages blueberries, said raspberries are "OK", and strawberries are a no until 12 months. I dissed her and gave Caroline strawberries at 9 months...she had diarrhea for like 10 hours. So...I'd skip the strawberries.

But we feed Caroline raspberries often. She's had no reaction.?

i am pretty sure that raspberries ok but i would check wholesomebabyfood.com they have a bunch info on what babies can eat at different ages.

My Ped says no strawberries or raspberries but blueberries are ok... annoying that they mix them into baby foods though! ?

I've given DD rasberries and blueberries with no issues starting at about 8 1/2 months. Will wait on strawberries.
