Babies: 9 - 12 Months

What size shoe does your 9/10 month old wear?

I had DS sized this weekend at Stride Rite, I was thinking I would get him some pre-walkers.  I was wrong, they sized him at a 5W, and the pre walkers stop at a 4.  The lady commented that he has large feet, and is a tall boy, so what size shoe does your 9 month old wear?

So we got these shoes, they are so cute!

They are on sale at the outlet and online.  If you purchase online use SPRING20 for 20% off.  And get free shipping if you get two pairs fo shoes.

  • Cute!  DD will be 10 months on Thurs and wears a size 3 still.  She is in the 75% for height.

  • It depends on the brand... She has 1 pair of sandals that are a size 1, she's outgrown size 2 Pumas, but size 3's are way too big...

I have a pair of 6-12 month Robeez in her closet that seem like they'll never fit her! They are huge.

  • DS is wearing sz 2 but they are still too big for him. He's really a 1.5.

  • At 5 Months DS was measured at striderite and wore a 3 1/2 W, I had to take him back at 7 months and he was measured as a 4W. I hope he doesn't keep up with the new shoes every two months.

  • I feel like a dork. I haven't even gotten shoes for DD yet :( She still just wears socks around the house and at daycare. I guess I'm scared of daycare losing shoes, because whenever I've put her in some she's ripped them off her feet and thrown them away.

We only got shoes because DS wants to stand everywhere we go.  He has ruined every pair of socks he owned since growing out of his Robeez, so I broke down and got some shoes.

  • DD is outgrowing a size 2 and moving into a size 3. So far it seems to be most brands but I have not tried stride rite yet. I can't afford it!!

I can't really afford them either, but I find good deals.  This last weekend I found some sneakers on clearance for $12.00 and I got these sandals for $20.00 using a coupon.   You can also find some good deals at Nordstrom Rack.

  • I just got DS some pedipeds and they are 6-12 months...and he has some target sandals that are a 3 I think...I ordered sz 4 sandals from Gymboree the other day and when I got them they looked HUGE, there is no way DS would be wearing those this summer...I think for us it just depends on where we get them from.  I should probably take him to SR to be fitted but we haven't yet...DS is supposed to be in the 97th percentile for height right now..

  • 2 here. a 3 soon though.
  • Wow, I feel like my daughter has huge feet. lol. She wears a size 5 currently. They are a little big for her length wise, but at least her feet fit into them. I had bought her a pair of size 4's and the top of her foot is too fat to fit into the shoes. She has muffin top feet. lol.

  • I havent had my DS sized (i need to do that asap) but he is somewhere between 2 and 3 with a wide foot. His size 2's are way too small but the size 3 See Kai Run shoes i bought him on sale are too long and narrow. Darn.
