Different Boards

Just wondering how many of you have introduced yourself if you started posting on a new board?  I lurk most of the time and did my formal introduction on GP but don't really post there I post more on BOTB.  Just curious!

Depends on the board.  I never bothered introducing myself on the Trimester boards, though I post there occasionally.  I asked a question on the Breastfeeding board and did a quick introduction in the same post, simply because it was pretty obvious I didn't have a LO yet.

I do not get intros.  It just draws attention to yourself.  Walk in like you own the place and you will do fine.

I like your style!  I guess I did the intro because I thought that was protocol in a sense.

I post on 12+ (started back when it was still 6+ - I intro'd there, because that is good protocol there).  I post on Baby Names when bored.  No intro necessary.  I post on 1st tri, and again, never intro'd - people come and go there all the time, there isn't a core group.  I post some on SAL, and occasionally when bored on GP.

I consider BOTB and 12+ to be my 'home' boards, but post more on 1st tri right now because I want to talk about my pregnancy and want to be sensitive to the regular posters on my home planets.
