Labeling pacifiers?

DD starts daycare in a month, and I have to have all of her pacifiers and bottles labeled.  The bottles are easy enough, but what's the easiest way to label pacifiers?

I was just thinking about this today as well. I was thinking about taking a ribbon and having his name on the ribbon.?

  • Loading the player...
  • Put her initials on it with a sharpie marker on the main round piece or the shield part that lays over the cheeks ..... if that makes any sense.

I was thinking about that too, but she uses soothies, so there's really no place to tie it.

  • We have to label things for our church nursery; they have you write your LO's name on a piece of masking tape and stick it through the pacifier handle. I'd prefer using a label-maker with plastic tape; less chance of it ripping off and being eaten. Of course, if your LO doesn't use a paci with a handle, this is pointless. :)

  • Permant marker! Not too cute though right? Can you just label a paci clip and not the paci?

You can also but personalized paci's off the internet!

  • I'll check out the personalized pacis, but it looks like sharpie is going to be the easiest.  Thanks ladies.

My DS only uses soothes too so I just bought him the gumdrop ones when have a hole where the handle part is. The Gumdrop pacifers are just like the soothies, but lighter weight and you can see your LO face better. ?Right now I have a ribbon through it but I was thinking about ordering some ribbon from this place with his name on it. The ribbon roll is ?$14.00 for just a plan color.

I am new here, and haven't posted yet- so sorry to but in on this question. But... I work at a child care center with infants, and sharpie markers (or any kind of markers) do not stay on the Soothies- they seem to rub off right away. I would reccomend finding the gumdrop pacifiers so they have a handle, or you could somehow improvise and make your own hole in the little nub of the soothie that sticks out, to put a ribbon or tape through?
