I don't know if you're buying Stanley because you like it or because its made in the USA. The reality of it is the case pieces are made here and the cribs are actually assembled in China. They do use solid wood and are of decent quality, though.
My nephew's furniture is Young America and is really nice - my BIL and SIL love it. ?Our nursery furniture is going to be Young America also. ?We actually picked out it out without realizing that it was Young America because of how solid it felt and how nice the drawers were so now we're getting it too. ?We are waiting until Memorial Day because it's going on sale at a store near us.

We initially were getting the YA 4 Seasons furniture, but ended up opting for the Romina Karisma. I was impressed by the quality in the store, but I was turned off after reading reviews online and in Baby Bargains. And not all the dressers were 100% solid wood.
Re: Young America baby furniture
Well there are a few reasons that we think we are buying Stanley...
1. We like it
2. We have a stanley bedroom set for us, so we know that it is good quality!
3. We can get it from North Carolina cheaper than anywhere else
4. It has gotten a good review in the consumer reports books including baby bargains!
