My Coworkers Rock

My coworkers surprised me yesterday by bringing dinners, snacks and a stork for the front yard! We were so excited to finally be in the same boat as all new parents. We thought that was so sweet.?

Hopefully this picture will work because the insert image button isn't working for me....?

    That is so thoughtful of them. Isn't it nice to have people treat you just like you had the baby?  My co-workers brought food and threw us a shower when we got back.  It made me feel so special as I'm sure your co-workers made you feel.

    Yes. Throughout the adoption process we just felt so 'different' and now it's nice to just feel like regular old first time parents.?

    Little man is good. He sleeps all day and then is up all night in true baby fashion. We're trying to gain a little weight, but other than that very healthy and happy. He seems to be liking his new home a lot. ?

    Aw!  That is so sweet! 

    Don't worry about the day and night confusion (easy for me to say ;)).  He'll figure it out in a week or so.  I thought Annie would never learn to sleep at night in her co-sleeper, but we got 5 hrs last night! 

    Can we get some more pics?  I love looking at that little cutie.

    I'm glad to hear Holden is doing so well. Ben lost a lb right after he was born and only weighed 5 oz more than his birth weight at 1 months, but then he gained 3 lbs by month 2 and 5 lbs between months 2-4.  Some babies just need a little kick start to start gaining.
