I called the RE's office yesterday to schmooze with the appt lady since my appt is so far away and it worked!  She called me just now with a cancellation, I'm going tomorrow at 2pm!!!!!!!!!

    OMG talk about!!  They sent me a link to some forms that hubs and I need to fill out online.  I assume it's about our history?

    Good for you! I'm reading the book A Few Good Eggs right now and they say to schmooze to make a friend in the office.

    It's called A Few Good Eggs: Two Chicks Dish on Overcoming the Insanity of Infertility. It's co-authored by 2 "older gals" that struggled with fertility in their 30's. They talk about their fertility journey and what they went through in a humorous way. They give advice like making a friend in the office and not wasting time with your OB/GYN if you suspect something is up. It's a good read.

    And I second the recommendation of "A Few Good Eggs". ?It's a great read and even a little fun since IF is clearly NOT FUN!!!
