Telling family the good news - Ways to announce?

Hi, my husband and I recently found out that we are pregnant and I planned on telling our families on Mother's Day.  Please suggest cute ways of telling them the good news!!!!!!!  Gift suggestions, which let them know of the good news?

We jused a poem and put it in a frame for both sets of grandparents...

 do not have a face to see,
Or put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss,
I don't yet have a name.
You can't yet hold my tiny hands, 'nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song, or cuddle me so near.
But all will change come summer time,
That's when they say I'm due.
I'll be your first grandchild; I can't wait till I meet you.
All I ask between now and then is your patience while I grow.
I promise I'll be worth the wait, because of all the love we'll know.
So have a Merry Christmas
A wish to you from me.
I cannot wait to be a part
Of this great family!

We got a t-shirt for our dog that said "I'm going to be a big brother!" and brought him to both grandparents' houses wearing it.

?

I know, kind of lame, but our dog was like our first child ?

You could wear a shirt saying "I'm going to be a mommy" or something like that, haha. Or give your mom a mother's day card that says To Grandma

We announced on my Birthday so after dinner the Birthday cake said "Baby _______ is on the Way!"  

You could do a "Mother's Day" Cake if you wanted!

I had a friend who told her family by taking a picture of her and her husband.  They each had similar football tshirts on and they had writting on the picutes...new shirts $20, snacks for the game $30, knowing there are three people cheering in this picture...priceless.  It was really cute!
