Supplementing with thicker formula

DD seems to have acid reflux, and we've recently switched to Enfamil AR.  She seems to really like it (it's only been 1 day) but so far so good.  She's sleeping better, she's less fussy during feedings, all around an improvement.  Problem is we're using the Enfamil AR to supplement breastmilk, which I'm pumping and putting into bottles.  On average DD has about 26 ounces a day, and about half is breastmilk.  Problem is she's now going from the thicker formula to the thinner breastmilk, and I think it's causing her some problems.  Right now we're alternating between BM and formula bottles to help minimize her confusion, and I'm not even sure if that's our best bet.

Anyone have any experiences with this?  I don't want to not give her the BM, but she takes the formula so much better.  I think it's less painful for her reflux since it's thinner.  How did you help your LO with this?
