There is a CPR/first aid class coming up and I want everyone who watches the boys to take it - which would be us, the grandmas and our sitter who is DH's cousin.
I had signed us up once previously but the class was cancelled. DH's cousin didn't want to take it so it was just us and the grandmas. Well it's on again for 2 Saturday mornings from 9am-1:30pm both days. I really think she should take this along with us, but what do I say if she refuses? Last time I asked she said she had taken it when her kids were in school and she worked in the health room. Her kids are about 30 yrs old now.
I can't exactly MAKE her take this with us...or can I? WWYD?
Re: How would you handle this re: sitter
Are you willing to make her employment contingent upon her taking this class? I think that is the only way you can make her take it.
Perhaps just stress the importance of it. While she may have taken it 30 years ago, many things have changed in that time.
I like this idea because you cant exactly MAKE her do it since she's not license DC provider kwim?
Ditto.
i asked my parents to take infant cpr b/c they used to watch DS one day/week. I paid for them to take it. (didn't pay for their time b/c they aren't paid caregivers for us) -they were happy to do it.
