middle name for Vera

I know you'd have to be careful to not let it run together. I'd love to use the name Ellen after my grandmother, but Vera Ellen sounds like one giant word when said together. Any suggestions? Last name starts with an F.

LOVE this name, i just recently tried to convince my friend to name their daughter Vera. hehe

I'd try to stay away from middlenames starting with a vowel because it does tend to flow together when the first name ends with "a".

i would like to first commend you for being one of the very few people on here who actually understand the concept of names running together like that (almost every time i reply to a post that is what i'm warning the op about), bravo!

secondly, i like vera and think it could go well with katherine/ catherine,  and sounds really good with margaret.

i also typed vera into a middle name suggester and claire/ clare came up. all of the other ones were bad (except naomi but i'm still not sure how that sounds with vera).

I don't think Vera Ellen runs together - I think it sounds really nice!!  Very pretty!

I was thinking same as pp: Vera Lynne. It's like Ellen but sounds better and the "run together" of this one I think is ok. I am the same way about that.
