Roughly 100. I'm blessed to be married to a man who likes to buy me shoes, and I like to buy them as well. We have a "no more black pumps" rule going on now because it got a little ridiculous...

This made me laugh...We have a "no more cowboy boots" rule. I have an obsession with all things Western Footwear which is also a little ridiculous.
Don't judge me...I have about 250 pair...I'm feeling very ashamed right now. I have no self control but am working daily on it. It's been almost a month since my last pair.
I store mine in rubbermaid shoe boxes (the kind you get at Target for like a $1) I just stack them in the garage and grab my pair for the day on the way to the car.
I don't really care much about shoes--must be a symptom of my 10 1/2 size, impossible to fit foot! But I love, love, LOVE boots--especially cowboy boots. Still, I try to exercise restraint.
I probably have about 60 pair of shoes/boots, but that's just because I never get rid of any old ones for some reason. I probably have about 10 I cycle through on a fairly regular basis.
I am currently examining shoe organization techniques so if anyone has any suggestions??? ;D
DH installed shoe racks against the walls on either side of the door inside my closet. My spring/summer shoes go in a Rubbermaid tub under the bed during the winter months.
I just counted 18. ?But how many do I wear? ?Probably 3 pairs get cycled through at work, and 2-4 pairs of sandals/tennies I wear for casual things. ?Most of them just sit in my closet unworn. ?I go barefoot whenever I can ;-).
ha this is funny!...currently my facebook status reads :" i have an obsession with baby shoes...actually just shoes in general. baby boy could quite possibly have just as many shoes as me. wow."
About 20 pairs... 1/2 are flip flops, 2 pairs of boots (one black, one brown), creek shoes, a few dress shoes and my sneakers. Even with those, DH goes nuts with how many shoes I have, he has four pairs. Dress shoes, sandles and nice sneakers and dirty sneakers used to mow the lawn, etc.

I keep the original boxes when possible. I've noticed that a lot of the racks/bags/etc that you stick loose shoes in often end up deforming the shoes. I'm not down with that at all.
I have 28 pairs of shoes counting my climbing shoes, hiking shoes, and wellies, which obviously are activity specific. I had foot surgery several years ago (had several bones reset in both feet) and had to replace all of my shoes. So I'm taking my time and only buying what I love. I'm also of the opinion that since my feet aren't going to change anymore (thanks to a shitload of hardware) I can invest in higher quality shoes...which is the other reason it's taking a while. That and when it's warm and I'm not working, I'm barefoot.

what a coincidence!
i would say I have 50 pairs.
Me, too! I can't wait to buy tiny little climbing shoes. And tiny little sneakers. And tiny little uggs. In fact, I keep buying shoes for my nephew, who can't even walk, yet.

Re: GTKYF: Shoe Obsession
Probably 60. I have a LOT of trashed running shoes that aren't good for running anymore just laying around the house.?

I think I have about 40 pairs. DH hates that I have so many. Really though I wear my flip flops more than anything. Gotta love FL.
