2. Marlow Charles or Marlow _______??

Rowan is OK, although I know a number of people using it for girls. Marlow is NMS and it also seems like a girl name for some reason.

Rowan is awful.

Marlow would be fine, I guess, for a girl, if you spelled it Marlowe, but it's hideous for a boy.
