just wondering. We are always trying to teach DS new things and was just wondering about what age do they typically know their right from their left. I've looked online and in a couple books but can't seem to find anything.
dd has been solid with it since last summer. She's 3.4 right now. I do tell her every time I put her shoes/socks on (have since birth) so I know that is why she knows it.
DD learn this in tap class. ? They say "this is my left foot" as they shuffle and followed by their right....She was three when she started the class and I notice a few months ago she always got it right when asked which is left/right. ?
Evan learned right about the time he turned 3. ?I have no idea how he learned it, though. ?I know we never really talked about it, and his preschool teacher said they didn't go over that either. ?He just started pointing out his right foot and left foot to me one day.
DS surprised us in late Feb by proclaiming "here is my left shoe!" and putting it on his left foot. We tested him a bit with different things, and he's never been wrong. He won't be 3 until later this month.
