Should it really be this hard to put on socks and shoes already? I feel like I need a 10 minute breather between feet. Isn't it too early for this???
Damn. I might need to get over my hatred of flip flops.

I hate old navy-type flip flops. I don't think they're comfortable at all, and that plastic thing between the toes drives me crazy.
BUT, I love J Crew's flip flops. they are so comfy and nothing like old navy's.
ooohhh crocs what a great idea!
lol me too:)
I have issues with showing my feet. They aren't gross or freakish or anything - I just think feet need to be covered. As for my feelings on Crocs...c'mon - they speak for themselves.

My SIL had to give up tying shoes about the same time - a little earlier, actually.
How about ballet flats for work and slip-on sneakers (like Keds) for casual?
Ditto this! I heart Reefs!
Man I LOVE flip-flops...I would wear them every single day of my life if I didn't live in Colorado where there is lots of snow at times.
Ed Hardy makes really cute slip on sneakers...they are super comfy too!! Just a thought!!
My clogs have been my standby so far, but lately with the feet swelling, they get pretty tight by about midday. It's unusual for the weather to be nice enough (other than for a few hours midday) in SF for flip-flops, and I'm worried about support. My ankle has been hurting even with the yummy Dansko support.
So today I looked in a few stores for some cute slip-ons with support, and maybe I'm being a baby, but everything cute had little straps that still had to be dealt with. It was exhausting even looking.
I think maybe the slip-on Keds might be good, but I still worry about support. And of course I don't want to spend much if I'll only wear them for a few more months of swollen feet.
Sigh. I really want to hear other women's solutions.
Have you tried Privo flats? That's what I tend to wear on the rare occasions I leave the house. Super comfy, slip on, but cover feet. I wear the more "athletic" type ones, usually without socks. They were a lifesaver when we went to Europe too because they were much cuter than sneakers with socks, but still wearable for walking a ton.

I LOVE flip flops! But, can't wear them in Seattle weather.
I'm 33 weeks along, and have had this start last weekend. Yet another fun preg perk.
