does DC go to sleep on their own? We have been running into this problem lately, and I see it becoming more of a problem this summer, and I don't know what to do! DS goes to sleep on his own in his bed when we are at home, but when we are somewhere else, he won't go to sleep in another bed unless we lie next to him. I don't know if he is scared of the unfamiliar place (even though the place he slept this past weekend is not unfamiliar...he has stayed there several times). We do his normal bedtime routine of pj's, reading, etc. and put him to bed with his pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, etc. so that he has his comforts, but as soon as we walk away, he freaks out and starts crying. Is there something else that we should be doing to help him? Or should I just get used to lying with him when we are not at home? Thank you!
