I have to spend the whole evening with my MIL...as she undermines my parenting, does whatever she wants with my son, regardless of what I say, and basically makes me want to rip my hair out...

    Maybe you could introduce her to my MIL.  Sounds like they would get along well.

    yea for a second there, i thought u were describing my MIL. i just came back from staying at her place with DS and DH for a week so i just went htur hell. Just let the time pass and be glad when ur done!
