Appt tomorrow due to spotting

I called the RE because I haven't been released from them yet and I'm spotting a lot of brown today. According to my LMP I'm 6weeks1day, according to my O date, I'm 5weeks4days. He told me I may or may not be able to see anything on the u/s. Anyone had a u/s at 5 1/2 weeks and if so what did you see? What else should I expect at this appt, another beta maybe?

I didn't have my 1st u/s until 6w3d, so I can't really help you there. I think it's too early for a heartbeat though. Good luck tomorrow and keep us posted!

At 5w2d we were able to see the gestational sacs and yolk sacs; at 6w2d we saw both heartbeats.

 

Hopefully you'll be able to see something reassuring.  They might check your beta and progesterone too to make sure everything's doing well.

At 5 weeks 6 days they were able to see heart flickers- but for some people that is too early.

At 5 weeks 0 days we saw just a tiny, tiny sac.  I could barely even see it, but the RE saw it.  No yolk sac or anything.  GL! I hope they can ease your mind! Oh, I got a beta then too, just to make sure it was over 1,000.
