Update on my ringless wedding finger...

It's eczema.  I have a steroid gel to put on it twice a day and in a few weeks, I should be good.  He said once it's gone gone to still wait a few weeks before putting the rings back on, drop a few pounds since water stays out from underneath of it since that seems to be the irritant but until then, he says to keep them off when my hands will be getting wet.

Re: Update on my ringless wedding finger...

  • How long have they been off? I have a friend who had a FAT rock, 4 carats, and could not wear it or she would get a rash. What a waste! LOL!

Oy, I bet I couln't get mine off right now with out professional help.

I am a fatty right now.

  • It's not easy getting mine on and off either so they'll just stay off for a while.  I've had the rash for a few months now, just over the last month, it's gotten so much worse.  It seems to respond to anything I use for maybe two applications but then gets worse.  I've used diaper rash creams, neosporin, benadryl cream, rbbing alcohol, I've taken benadryl, claritin.....hopefully it will go away this time.
