First Bday Games For Adults

I was trying to plan a small party for my ds first bday party but it's not turning out that way. LOL

There are going to be about 30 adults and 10 kids.  Mostly younger kids ages 1 thru 7. We're just doing cake, punch and ice cream since there are so many people It's going to only be for 2 hours.  However I dont want the adults to get bored. I was planning on bringing some games, bubbles and toys for the kids but wasn't wasn't sure what I should do for the adults if anything.

 What do you all think?

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

Re: First Bday Games For Adults

  • I've never heard of games for adults at a child's b'day party. I don't think it's necessary, especially if it's only 2 hours.
  • Loading the player...
  • I'm sure the adults will have a good time just chatting.  I would hate to have to participate in a game, personally.
  • I found a couple I thought were cute

     1. Guess how much the baby weighs.  You pass around the baby and everyone can make a guess.  The closest one wins.  I am doing this at my sons 1st bday and I have a scale that goes to the nearest .5 lb.

    2.  How hold was your baby when.....you can post didfferent pictures up onto a clothes line of your baby doing different milestones and each guest has to write down what age the baby was when they did it.

These are a couple of ideas that I found online.

  •  I think I'd skip the games for adults.  That's really cheesy, IMO.
