  • If you ran over a squirrel, can I have the carcass to hang in my attic as a warning to the other vermin to stay out?  :-)

My DH cannot, canNOT drive a stick.  He got in 2 accidents the SAME DAY while driving a company car.  Because of this, I will never own my dream car.

  • Kori- I think I would have a better shot of killing a squirrel with a gun from the small arsonel (sic?) we happen to own. (country bumpkin hubby). We traded in my car and got a stick. Oh dear.

  • LOL you'll get it.  They aren't that bad, but it takes a few days.  They are SO much easier to handle in the snow, I miss my old car.
  • I never actually learned but have had to drive one a few times by no choice.  It was hard but I know I could again if I had to.  One thing I did once was just let out of the clutch to see where the car would stall and that's when I knew when I needed to press the accelerator.  Takes practice.
  • just think of it as practice when you become loaded with money and need to drive a "real" sports car. :)  you'll get it!
