My babies will only take the soothie pacifier due to being in nicu for 4 1/2 weeks. I went online to find a clip/holder thingy and came across Hawaii Medical who sells the soothie along with the gumdrop which is awesome!! The gumdrop is made by soothie and has the same nipple, but is smaller, lighter weight, cute and it has a hole to attach a clip to it. I got them in yesterday and my babies love them and they look sooo much cuter then the soothie! You can get them in a few different colors and natural scent or vanilla and if you order 7 or more they are only $1.50. The soothie is heavy and I was consistantly putting it back in their mouths and when it would hit the floor it would bounce away and drive me crazy and now I don't have that problem...well, not as often just wanted to share!

You can buy a paci attachment for the soothies at Target and BRU one is a flower (girl) and the other is a penguin (boy)

i got soothie paci clips at BRU the other day. Still doesn't keep it in their mouth- but no paci really does stay in their mouth when they are that little - the nice thing about the soothie is you can stick your pinkie in the hole and feel when they have a good latch on it and know when you can move your hand away - this was invaluable in the middle of the night when DS was in the cosleeper bassinet - i could just reach over and feel and know he had it in
we didn't use soothies during the day - we used Mam pacis then - and saved the soothies for bedtime only. Our dogs chewed up way too many of the soothies- something about them made the dogs go nutty and think they were their toys

i just looked up the gumdrop - cute thanks!
the soothies also have holes in them (maybe not all but the ones i'm seeing online) so any thin ribbon clip would work with those, too- but they are bigger/heavier.
i do use the ribbon clips with our soothies. it's not as easy as with the gumdrops, but you can get ribbon clips through those holes.
