flu shots???

did you have you 1 yr. old get a flu shot? any reactions?

yes, he had his shot the other day. He had a sore leg (injection site) and a little fever. I gave him some ibuprofen and he was fine. No other reactions.

Lo had hers with no reaction.

DD got one with her regular vaccinations at 12 months (taking is up to 4 shots and a finger prick boooo)  She had a fever for a few days afterwards.  She'll have to go back in 4 weeks for another.

She got one last week at her 1 year check up. She didn't have any reaction. The first time they get the flu shot, they split it into 2 doses so we'll go back next month for the other one.

No reaction here, however he was a hurtin' unit after having 5 shots in his thighs.  A couple of days later he got a cold, but I really don't think that is corrrelated in any way.  Like Kris said, we'll be back in 4 weeks for the 2nd half.

LBB got his with his other shots at his 1 yr appt. He ran a low grade the next day 99.6/99.7 but it could have been from any of the vaccines and he was fine by the time he got home from school.
