when I went to Kleinfeld's they didn't sell dressed under 3k. they were in BK back then. now they are in Manhattan, so I am sure they don't sell anything under $5-7k.
Oh wait, I forgot! I had TWO, LOL. I had one for the civil ceremony and one for the legal ceremony. Or whatever- we got married in Cabo, one was for show and one was for legality purposes. The 2nd one I bought at Deb for like 20.00.
Mine was $2K. I tried lots on that were $3-4K and I would have chosen them if I'd loved them enough. I tried on one that was $6K and honestly would never have picked it EVEN IF I'd loved it.
It was a brand new Alfred Angelo in mfr packaging. Just a discontinued style... fine by me. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a dress that would never be worn again.

It was $750 on sale for $420. It fit like a glove and didn't need anything altered. And my shoes were high enough that I didn't need it shortened either. It's like it was made for me.
$500 - was a sample sale dress that retailed for about $2800ish (bought it from a local bridal shop I had no business being in - I couldn't afford most of the sample dresses, even on sale!) Can't remember the alterations costs (not outta control, though).
$350 CAD on ebay - it was a Maggie Sottero, chiffon, with swarovski crystals on it, and swarovski crystal buttons down the back. It was exactly what I wanted!!!
Re: How much did your wedding dress cost?
I think it was just under $2K. It was expensive but I loved it.
I can't imagine spending 10x that on a dress. Yikes!
