Re: Twin names
I like all the names, but when I hear Colin and Leah, I automatically think of J&k+8. IDKW.
But I think my fav is Charlotte.
That's my biggest fear about that duo. In fact I think that's why DH isn't set on Leah (he picked Colin)

I know the survey said Caitlin was the winner, but I feel like Colin and Caitlin are a little too matchy matchy. I voted for Charlotte, because you have the Cs in common, and Colin and Charlotte seem to sound nice together.
?
Edited to add: Colin and Molly could work too. They both have that "all" sound in them. Im not sure if thats good or bad, but I think it's good.?
I voted for Charlotte.
"Colin & Leah" makes me think of The Gosselin sextuplets.
I really like the name Leah and almost went with it until I remember J&K+8, lol. I like Charlotte the most as well.
Caitlin and Colin are too much of a twin set, IMO (although I'm glad to see you spelled Caitlin that way).
I think both Charlotte and Molly would be cute with Colin, but ultimately I voted for Molly b/c of the similarity in the "all" sound.
I think my favorites are Charlotte and Molly. The other names are cute, too. Although I wouldn't go with Colin and Caitlyn b/c it's too matchy for my personal taste.
Be warned - on the Multiples board there are a few Charlottes and they always seem to be the more difficult baby for whatever reason (including my own). It's sort of a joke on there. My Charlotte did end up being a great toddler, though.
I like Leah a lot and while you can't get away from the JK+8 comparison, it's just a momentary tv trend that will pass in time: so if YOU like it, go for it.
I normally like the name Molly (super cute) but with Colin I keep thinking of the word "mollycoddled".
Charlotte is also nice, but for twins I really like to make them distinct - like no rhyming or matching letters.
Elizabeth is very classic.
Thanks ladies.
I'm not trying to do any matching for twins, but thinking in terms of how sibling names go together. I think most people think of that right? Like these are my children 'blank and blank'.
Hmm, not everyone even knows Jon & Kate, right? And like pp's said, it will be forgotten in a few years.
