Newbie here~... :)
Hello everyone My name is Sherry. I live in PA. Dh & I have been married just over 10 years. We have 3 furbabies. Angel 6 years- yellow lab mix; Luke 4 years- Shep/ lab mix & Sydney- 9 years boston mix. We have no children yet but continue to pray that will change in the near future hopefully.
Dh & I are planning to adopt. We are more than a year into our contract.We signed up w/ a local agency & have a facilitator we are working w/ us- our contract is up on Nov. 27, 2009... so we're praying this will be our year to finally become parents. We've been ttc for 7 years. We've had a total of 4 mc; last one just in 2/09. We've been profiled to 7 or 8 bmom so far. No matches yet but we're hopeful. We've taken all our adoption classes. Currently we are being profiled to 2 more situations. Due May 26/ & June 16 if chosen. We are in the domestic NB program.Our homestudy is complete but will be updated in May 09. Our clearences have finally came through... my fingerprints were rejected x2 this time around-very frustrating but they finally came in... March 2 ... yay!... after almost a 3 month wait.
Anyway just wanted to say HI & introduce myself; so glad I found this forum. Can't wait to get to know everyone better & follow your journey as well.
