Take & Toss cups

For those of you who use these, how long do you wash & reuse them? I've successfully transitioned DD from the Nuby sippy cups, but the Take & Toss are the only "hard" sippy cups she'll use on a regular basis. Just wondering...I don't want to have to buy new ones every month...that will get a little pricey. Thanks!!!!

Re: Take & Toss cups

  • I think the 'take and toss' is just an advertisement line to get us to keep buying them! My DS like yours will only drink out of these hard spout cups. I don't plan to get rid of them unless the mouth gets really worn out. I just don't put them in the microwave or put anything that's been heated up a lot in them.

  • I don't plan on throwing them out until they are worn, I think the name is more of an advertisement

  • We've been using the same ones for over four months now.  The only problems I've had is losing the caps to the dishwasher (two fell down and melted on the coil) and DD threw one on the floor and cracked the lid.  I'm not sure how she did that; it must have hit the wrong way.  They've been great, though.  It's the only cup DD knows how to use.  She never got the regular sippy cup thing, but she is great with these.
  • DD would only use these for a while (now she is on the Nuby) i used mine until they started looking 'cloudy', maybe 2 months?
