    I just watched the other day on "The Doctors" tv program that you should have absolutely NOTHING in your crib- including bumpers, pillows, stuffed animals, etc. They said SIDS is growing higher because of these things.

    When my DD was 3 mo old, she managed to get her leg twisted and wedged through the bars of the crib.  Even though I went right in when she started crying, she still ended up with a massive bruise.  I started using bumpers after that.

    no bumpers for us, I'd rather have my baby get her leg stuck and get a bit hurt than risk her life. I like to play on the safe side of things generally though.?
