We just got hammered with snow here this afternoon, up to 10 inches in some places. I left work a bit early thankfully, but it took poor DH nearly two hours to get home, when it normally takes him about 20 minutes.
I went out shoveling a bit with Nora and about passed out, the snow was so wet and heavy. But she had a lot of fun building "blocks" in it and we made snow angels, etc.?
Needless to say, it was a frozen pizza dinner for the Coker household tonight!! We're all exhausted!
Re: What a friggin MESS
WTF were you shoveling for you silly girl!!!?
frozen pizza sounds like the best option! come on SPRING!!!!?
I think that storm is heading my way for the weekend.
Thankfully, we have a plow and a generator. I won't get caught with my pants down again. Learned my lesson.
We got the plow a few years ago and the generator after the ice storm in December.
I told DH that we pretty much ensured it would never snow again and the lights would never go out again, but, the plow has been our life-saver (and DH does our neighbor who gives us fresh eggs and maple syrup from his land!), and the generator has already been used last weekend when we got snow and the lights went out.
Oh, the bliss of being warm and lit and not losing $200. worth of food!!
But, yeah, definitely ready to see actual grass soon!
Me = idiot. That's why. LOL
DH about flipped out on me when I told him that, but I think I'm getting a nice back rub after Nora goes to bed tonight because of it.

I gotta scold you for shoveling, too! Be careful and take it easy tonight!
