Oh girls, today's ultrasound was soooo wonderful! The baby measured exactly on time (6w4d) and had a heartbeat. The RE didn't measure how fast, but he said it was nice and strong. I am sooo excited. This baby is now farther along from the one we lost (It only measured 6w1d and no heartbeat.) While I was laying there, the dr said, "There's the sac, yolk sac, there's the baby with a heartbeat." and I was like, "HEARTBEAT????" Right then and there I start bawling! It was just such a relief of anxiety and every other emotion you can probably think of. I have an appointment with my regular OB on Monday. I might even get another ultrasound, but I guess we will see. Oh my gosh, I'm gonna have a baby!

CONGRATS! Us too
Our first appointment was yesterday and we got to have an ultrasound after I acted really disappointed that my doctor hadn't planned to do one. Hee hee. Plus I had taken Clomid to get pregnant and was nervous about having twins. Just one baby. Which is fine by me
The u/s was so cool! I can't believe how much like a baby it already looks like. A little head, spine, limb buds....so cute. Great heartbeat. That little flutter is just amazing. It was a HUGE relief to us too. I was so worried that something was wrong and I haven't even had a m/c. I'm so sorry for your first loss. How wonderful to see such good news with this pregnancy! Congrats again.
