I think it's funny she went to 2nd tri thinking they would have a different reaction. Does she think people can't go to the other boards? She's not very observant..

Blair, they used to be. ?About a year ago, 58 of us left the boards due to the knot mods failing to effectively ban the batshitcraziest chick I've ever come across. (She emailed husbands, found out the home addresses of some of the members, stared down one of the girls in an Old Navy parking lot and then emailed her to confirm she knew it was her... ?she's STILL on the boards, but she's moved to the National ones now.) ?She has multiple screen names but is pretty easy to spot. ?Being that it was a local board, it was pretty easy to figure out where someone lived by the pictures in a bio or vendors. ?It was seriously scary at some points.
We made our own board on a private site and have continued to hang out there. ?It was invite only and we weeded out all of the puppy-rainbow kids, anyone who ever mentioned Disney anything in reference to a wedding, anyone who wore a pick-up dress after Spring of 08 and other misc douchebatchery. ?
We used to occasionally go back as a group to "take-over" and to troll for wedding pics. ?But we haven't done that in a very long time. ?

Some of us on BOTB made a private board. It was awesomeness for a long bit, but then we found out we have a mole in, so we jumped to another one. I ended up getting banned from it, and banned from the spin-off private board that the cast-offs of the "elite" board made. Follow? and for what? Associating with certain nesties that were posting pictures of Ninjas. Oh, yes. It is massive amounts of silliness.
But local boards can be scarier than national boards, IMO. It's WAY too easy to pinpoint somebody, find out where they live, and people they know. My cousin showed up on my local one day. & a girl that I had issues with in college. That was pretty much the end of the local board for me.

No worries. ?I'm an urbanite. ?We wear our pale proud and mock anyone with a tan, real or otherwise, redhead or not.
My bff calls it "white trash chic." ?The look includes tanning of any sort, french manicures, visable roots and on the worst offenders, clothing purchased at Express. ?I prefer the more polite term "suburbanite."
