Women who wear short ponytails....

My hair is a mess, so I tried to put it up in a little(very little) ponytail.  I think it looks good, but now pieces on each side are slowly falling down....What do you all do??  I hate to put a barrett in it as I have pretty short hair, thought of maybe jellin it...or am I pushing it and I should wait it out till it grows!!

Use bobby pins. If you get them in a color that's close to your hair color, you won't even notice them.

I sometimed wear a headband with my ponytail to stop my long bangs and shorter layers from falling down into my face.. One of the thin elastic ones that goes all the way around your head, its looks okay I think - I hope.
